Companies face numerous competitive challenges. Perhaps the most pressing of these challenges is the ceaseless need to change. Pressures such as increasingly stringent regulatory requirements, the threat to market share from an ever expanding number of competitors, and the cultural upheaval created by a merger or corporate acquisition can sharpen this need to evolve and re-invent once inviolable practices and organizational structures. But change is disruptive and disorienting, so it is often met by resistance. Left unaddressed, this resistance and aversion to change can sabotage a company's efforts to transform itself. I believe that training teams play an important
and role in enabling change. In designing and developing learning, I ensure that performance goals are delineated for all stakeholders. I also ensure that learning objectives and outcomes are clearly linked to the organization's transformation plan and that learning supports a culture of continuous growth and improvement through stakeholder engagement, agile delivery of real-time learning, and innovative instructional strategies.
